For any kind of a careful work, our body requests some time to be "adroit". I. EYES

II. THE NECK
A very common disorder presented with severe discomfort and mobility strain of neck is known as cervical spondylosis. This is result of continuous defective positioning of the cervical spines causing imbalance in pressure and leads to prolapse of spine matter into the spaces between two bones.
III. LOW BACK
Similar to that in cervical region the lumbar region too exerts imbalanced pressure due to constant bad posture resulting in compression of the intra spine matter causing severe pain and strain in moving and walking.
IV. THE WRIST & FINGERS
The conditioned placing of the wrist over the table and the key board for long time causes swelling & spasm of tiny muscles controlling the finger and hand movement. This results in gradual rigidity and loses flexibility of the wrist and later finger movements give immense pain.
V. OTHER ORGANS AS A WHOLE

Padmabhushan Dr.S.S.Badrinath(Sankara Nethralaya,Chennai), Shri.K.K.Somani (Mumbai), Shri.DarshanShankar(FRLHT) Bangalore), Dr.A.V.Balasubramanium (CIKS, Chennai), Shri.P.R.KrishnaKumar (The AryaVaidya Pharmacy(Cbe)Ltd;), Dr.Vilas Nanal(Pune) and Dr.Prof.PremaPandurang served as the founder directors. Late Netracharya N.V. Kuttykrishnan Nair was the Chairman. Dr.B.G.Gokulan (Medical Director, Sudarshanam Netra Chikitsalayam) is the Exec.Secretary of Netra Foundation.
The Person
Dr.B.G.Gokullan did his 7 ½ years unique course of 'Ayurvedacharya' ( BAMS) at Coimbatore Ayurveda College in the ancient Gurukula standards. In 1988 he joined an all India network called LSPSS (Lok Swasthya Parampara Samvardhan Samithi) for the promotion of indigenous medical culture, as a research fellow and selected the field of Ophthalmology. Mean time he also had the opportunity to get trained under great stalwarts of Ayurveda like Brahmashree Vaidyamadhom Valiya Narayanan Namboodiri(Late) and Panditaratnam Vaidya bhooshanam Raghavan Thirumulpad.
Dr.Gokullan had the opportunity for a rigorous training in modern diagnostics and documentation, at Sankara Nethralaya, a unit of Medical Research Foundation, Chennai to make use in the research of Ayurvedic Ophthalmology.
Dr.Gokullan has attended a number of national and international conferences on Ayurveda and traditional medicine by presenting his clinical papers on Ayurvedic Ophthalmic medicine.
He became the first Ayurvedic graduate to receive the prestigious life Fellowship of " Ashoka Innovators for the Public" from United States in 1993 for the kind of innovative work he is doing for the promotion of Ayurvedic Ophthalmology.
In 1999 he received a prestigious fellowship - for the promotion of deprived children in the world - called CRY (Child Relief & You, based at Chennai,Tamilnadu)
Dr.B.G.Gokullan won the zone Kamalpatra Award for outstanding career development instituted by Indian Junior Chamber for the year 1999. Dr.Gokullan has appeared in many National & international Television channels. He has participated in making of the first feature film on Ayurveda "Ayurveda, the
Art of being" which was released globally in 2002.
A documentary on his therapeutic techniques using honey was telecast in French television France-5 followed by Discovery channel in late 2003.
